The University Industry Innovation Network and the Catalan Association of Public Universities, in partnership with EADA Business School Barcelona, have organised between the 23rd and the 25th april the 2014 University-Industry Interaction.

The Conference entitled “Challenges and solutions for fostering entrepreneurial universities and collaborative innovation”, brings together more than 300 participants from more than 50 countries. Sandro Giachi, predoctoral fellow of the Institute for Advanced Social Studies (IESA-CSIC), has participated in this event presenting the following papers:

Understanding the dynamics and the outcomes of science-industry Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs): the objective of this research is to build an analytical model for explaining the success os CRC-firms relationship, analysing the matching process between collaborating parts and its organizational dynamics.

Exploring organizational structures and outcomes of Cooperative Research Centres in the spanish innovation system: this paper explores the organizational arrangements in Spanish CRCs, where a great diversity is found given given the high presence of small and medium size enterprises (SME) in both high and low tech sectors, and the multilevel governance of the innovation system.
