Graduate in Research and Market Techniques from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and in Statistics from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Julia Ranchal has a Masters in Methodology of Behavioural and Health Sciences (Interuniversity Master at UAM, UCM and the National Distance Education University – UNED). Her professional background is connected to public organisms such as the Spanish Statistical Office (INE), the Regional Government of Madrid (CAM) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) for whom she has undertaken technical work related to statistical data production and analysis. She has participated in projects in Health Sociology and Public Policy Evaluation at the Institute for Advanced Social Studies – National Research Council (IESA-CSIC). Since 2017, Julia is a member of the Technical Unit of Applied Studies at IESA-CSIC where she supervises field research, statistical data collection and analysis, as well as drafting technical reports.
