María Isabel García Rodríguez

IBC – Social identity, subjective well-being and human behaviour

Isabel García Rodríguez works for the Institute for Advanced Social Studies as a research technician. She is a PhD in Sociology from the University of Granada. She is a University Specialist in Design and Treatment of Opinion Surveys and Surveys (UNED), a University Expert in Qualitative Opinion Research (Andalusian College of Sociology) and a University Expert in Inclusion and Social Exclusion (UNED).

Since 1997 she has been working for the IESA-CSIC. He has directed and participated in numerous applied social research projects in the field of Sociology, in areas such as: Evaluation of public policies, Poverty and Social Exclusion, Welfare State and Policies of Defamilization and Sociology of Health, using gender as an analysis perspective. She has also directed and participated in research projects for public calls.

She is currently developing her professional work in the line of research “Social Identity, Subjective Well-being and Behavior”. M. Isabel has numerous publications and has participated in numerous professional conferences.

She lecturer on the Official University Master in Direction, Management and Entrepreneurship of Socio-Health Centers and Services (University of Jaen), on the Official University Master of Positive Psychology (University of Jaen) and she lecturer on The training sessions of the Doctoral program in legal Sciences (Universidad de Granada).

She has taught specialization courses at the Maimonides Institute for Biomedical Research (IMIBIC), the Andalusian Institute of Public Administration, the International University of Andalusia, the Andalusian Institute of Criminology and the Andalusian Studies Center Foundation, among others. She has also been a tutor of final master’s projects and students in practices at the Pablo de Olavide University.
